The Challenge
East Side Entrees decided to change their name and branding to E S Foods to better reflect the fact that they are a portable solution for all foodservice meals and situations. They were concerned that the word “entrees” made customers think that they only do main courses, when in fact their fastest growing product is Breakfast BREAKS.
The challenge was to create an online presence for the company that reflected this broader market while building on the momentum they had already established with their nutritious, Grab n’ Go, shelf stable breakfast products.
The Solution
We proposed redesigning the company’s website to fully realize the market potential afforded by this new branding. Our goal was to make it easy for foodservice directors and decision makers to find the information they’re seeking. We also wanted to position E S Foods as a leading resource for institutional foodservice information.
We accomplished this by streamlining the information architecture and design for the site to improve usability. The homepage more effectively spotlights services, new products and important company news. It also promotes the company’s new foodservice blog, giving users an incentive to visit the site regularly.
